The Student Development and Campus Life Office is
located in the East Campus Student Center and the
West Campus Mary Stuart Rogers Student Learning
Center. We provide a central meeting location for
campus clubs and student government participants who
represent ASMJC (Associated Students of Modesto
Junior College). Our office coordinates many campus
activities and special events in addition to these
services:
Student ID Cards:
Student ID cards are provided free of charge. To
obtain a card, come to the office and bring a class
schedule indicating that your fees have been paid
for along with another type of photo identification,
such as a driver’s license.
Student Benefit Fee:
This Student Benefit fee enables students and staff
to receive discounts at local businesses (restaurants,
health clubs, retail stores, etc.).
It also provides you with a limited number of FREE
scantrons, pencils, local phones, faxes, and copies.
If you come to the East Campus Student Development
Office and provide proof that you have purchased the
fee, we can supply you with a bonus-$2.00 GoPrint card.

Student Leadership Development:
We
encourage students to participate in the Student
Leadership Development course offered each semester
(SOCSC 58). This 2 unit course prepares students for
productive involvement in community service, college
activities, and civic governance. Designed
especially, but not exclusively, for students
participating in student government and club
activities.
Housing Referral Program:
In
order to assist students and staff in finding
affordable housing, we have a housing bulletin board
available. If you are interested in finding housing
or renting a room, come visit us. We recommend that
you check the board regularly.
Emergency Locator Forms:
An Emergency Locator Form can assist a family
member, child care provider, employer, or friend in
locating you in the event of an emergency. If we do
not have a form on file for you, we will not be able
to let others know of your location. This form must
be filled out each semester.
