If I am in a position to punish, chances are very good that I am also in a position to teach.  Today I reduce the odds that punishment may be necessary by taking the opportunity to teach. ~Anonymous~

Hi.

I came to Modesto Junior college in the fall of 2001. It has been my pleasure to teach a variety of courses, but my favorite classes to teach are Parenting, Guidance and Discipline, and Adult Supervision and Mentoring.

I came to MJC from Ohlone College in Fremont, CA.  My degrees are in Human Development and Education and were earned at California State University, Hayward.  I love to teach and to get to know as many students as possible.

My other life is my family.  I have six grown sons and twelve grandchildren.  Playing guitar badly, singing-not-so-badly, and writing are some of my favorite things to do when I'm not at work.
