PHILO 121—HISTORY OF PHILOSOPHY: MODERN 3 UNITS

Western ideas and philosophers from the 16^th century to the present, with a consideration of prominent Eastern philosophies. The primary focus is on renaissance thought, the rise of modern science, 18^th and 19^th century empirical thought and critical philosophies, and trends in the twentieth century.
