Interviews (Not Defined in APA):

The APA Publication Manual does not address citing published interviews. To do so, add the information about the interviewer in square brackets after the publication date in the citation (or, if citing a titled article in a journal or magazine, following the article title).

Because unpublished interviews do not provide "recoverable data" (3.102) they are cited within the body of your text but not in the reference list. Include the name of the person interviewed, format of the interview, and the date.

For example (Published interview):
Andrews, J. (2008, September-October). At home with Julie Andrews.
[Interview with Holly G. Miller]. Saturday Evening Post, 280(5), 49-50.
For example (Podcast of Interview from Radio Broadcast):
Levy, A. (2006, 28 November). Ariel Levy, columnist for New York Magazine,
on her book Female chauvinist pigs: Women and the rise of raunch culture, and the paradox of how being a sex worker is now considered empowering and dressing like a slut is liberation. [Interview with Terry Gross, host of Fresh Air]. Fresh Air. Podcast retrieved December 10, 2007 from National Public Radio via http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=6549015
For example (Unpublished E-mail interview):
M. Moore (E-mail interview, October 21-22, 2008)

For example (Unpublished Personal face-to-face interview):
K. Ennis (personal communication, August 8, 2006)

For example (Unpublished Telephone interview):
