LIBRARY MISSION STATEMENT:
Knowledgeable
Library faculty and staff work together to create a user-focused
environment that is a center for academic pursuits at Modesto
Junior College. By providing equitable access to information,
services, and facilities, we foster intellectual inquisitiveness
and facilitate effective teaching, study, reflection, and lifelong
learning. We promote information literacy through courses, bibliographic
instruction sessions with classes, and one-on-one instruction
within the library. In addition, library staff supports Distance
Education and manages a campus-wide Open Computer Lab. We provide
services and resources to our students, faculty, staff, and members
of the community.
