There
are several ways students can learn how to use the library to
conduct effective and efficient research.
- For
Credit Courses
- We
currently offer one 12-week, two-unit course (LR 100:
Research Methodology) and one 6-week, one-unit course
(LR 120: Library Research on the World Wide Web).
See the course
catalog for complete descriptions and offerings.
- One
of the sections of LR 100 is taught online. For a description
of that course, click
here.
- Library
Instruction Sessions
- Faculty
can request that a librarian meet with his/her class and
present a subject-specific session on methods and sources
for conducting research. Please click here
for more information on scheduling a session.
- If
you want to schedule time for your class to work in the
library but do not find it feasible to have librarian-mediated
instruction, please click here
for more details.
