A unique opportunity available to MJC agriculture students is the Agriculture Internship Program. Through this program, students are offered housing and utilities in exchange for 10 hours of labor per week on one of the many farming enterprises of the program. Students in this program work closely with the faculty advisor for each particular farming enterprise and with the MJC Agricultural Operations Manager. This unique opportunity allows students to develop solid managerial and production skills within a specific farming enterprise while taking advantage of an affordable housing opportunity.
