SYLLABUS

Description

ANSC 255 Prep Vet Surgical and Dental Asst.  This course will provide an overview of the knowledge and practices required by veterinary technicians to assist with surgery and dental procedures.  Presentations include descriptions and demonstrations of various veterinary materials, equipment, and procedures uses by veterinary technicians in the field of veterinary medicine.  The course will also include several labs in order to provide demonstrations and hands on practice of various equipment and procedures.

 Spring 2007 – Tuesday 69 pm

 Tests – There will be 1 midterm and 1 final.  The final will NOT include material already covered by the midterm.  ALL questions will come from the class notes supplied by Dr. Barrett or assigned reading material.  Any students found guilty of cheating or academic dishonesty will receive an “F” grade for the course.
