About the Agriculture Business Section

The agricultural business major at Modesto Junior College offers students the opportunity to discover the endless possibilities of careers within the field of agriculture that utilizes a business foundation.

With agriculture as the basis for instructional curriculum, the students are introduced to a broad spectrum of agriculture business through the following areas of instruction; sales and service, marketing, economics, accounting, import/export, finance, computer science, and management. Students receive the most up-to-date industry trends and standards through their practical laboratory experiences. Strong support and connections between Modesto Junior College and a diversity of agriculture businesses throughout the Greater San Joaquin Valley provide an ideal working and learning environment for the agricultural business major.
